- Tip #1 - Make sure the name is easy to spell
- Tip #2 - Don't use intential misspellings in the name
- Tip #3 - Don't use numbers (unless it's part of your brand) or hyphens
- Tip #4 - Pick a name that describes your business; make it relevant, unique, or fun
- Tip #5 - Make sure it can't be read or interpreted as something else
- Tip #6 - The shorter and to the point, the better
- Tip #7 - Don't use something that looks, feels, or smells like a well known brand, unless it is, of course, your own. That will avoid any trademark issues.
- Tip #8 - Don't plan your brand around a domain name until you have it registered
- Tip #9 - If you found a great name that is still available, check your spelling at least twice more.
- Tip#10 - Consider getting .net .info .biz or .mobi if you snagged a great name for your brand
